By accessing or using Sail Align's website and mobile application (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for any activities under your account.

You agree to:

• Create only one account per person
• Not share your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Keep your account information updated

3. User Content

Our Service allows you to upload, post, store, and share content such as text, images, logos, documents, and other materials ("User Content"), including files uploaded to regatta Notice Boards or attached to events.

You are solely responsible for all User Content you upload and for ensuring that such content complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

You agree not to upload, post, or share any content that:

• Is illegal, unlawful, or promotes illegal activities
• Infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
• Contains malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Is defamatory, abusive, hateful, threatening, or harassing
• Contains sexually explicit, pornographic, or violent material
• Violates the rights, privacy, or safety of others
• Is misleading, fraudulent, or falsely represents an organization or event

Sail Align does not actively monitor all User Content but reserves the right to review, remove, or disable access to any content that violates these Terms or applicable laws, without prior notice.

You acknowledge that Sail Align is not responsible for User Content uploaded by users and assumes no liability for any loss or damage resulting from such content.

4. Data Storage and Backup

While we take reasonable measures to protect user data and uploaded files, Sail Align does not guarantee that User Content will always be available, preserved, or free from accidental loss.

You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important documents and files uploaded to the Service.

5. Regatta Data Disclaimer

Sail Align is a digital assistance tool designed to support regatta organization and communication. All timing, positioning, and race data displayed in the Service are provided for informational purposes only.

Sail Align is not an official race authority and does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or official validity of race results, timing data, or published documents.

6. Navigation and Safety Disclaimer

Sail Align provides navigational information, forecasts, and safety-related data for convenience only. The Service is not a substitute for official navigational charts, maritime publications, or professional judgment.

Always rely on official sources and onboard instruments when making navigational or safety decisions.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding user-generated content) are and will remain the exclusive property of Sail Align and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

8. Service Usage

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access
• Use the Service for commercial purposes without our consent
• Modify, adapt, or hack the Service

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Sail Align, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

11. Content Moderation & Enforcement

We reserve the right to remove content, suspend accounts, or restrict access to the Service if we reasonably believe that a user has violated these Terms or applicable laws.

Repeated or serious violations may result in permanent account termination.

12. Service Availability

We strive to provide a reliable and continuously available Service. However, Sail Align does not guarantee uninterrupted access and may experience downtime due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues.

13. Minimum Age

The Service is intended for users who are at least 16 years old. By using Sail Align, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
